Whether you are already a student or visiting us for the first time, we hope you enjoy your visit to our site. We have done our best to include as much information as possible about FIMA in order to give you a broad overview about our programs and school. But don't be shy about stopping in if you are ever in the area, we would love to assist you in person.

FIMA is one of the premier martial arts schools in the Bergen County area. Since 1990 we have offered professional martial arts instruction to both children and adults in all levels, from the beginner to advanced. The American Tactical Self-Defense System of Heiho Shin Do Ju-Jitsu is the dominant curriculum taught at FIMA. This tactical system was created by Shodai Senei Faustini in 1990. A Tae Kwon Do Curriculum is also offered at the Dojo. Many students choose to cross-train and achieve ranking in both systems.

Our modern, air-conditioned facility is clean and spacious, equipped with locker rooms, showers, and ample parking. In addition, we have 2 separate classrooms (training areas) which allow us to devote a lot of personalized attention when we work with students in smaller groups. Our instructors and staff are friendly, supportive, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
