Special Needs Martial Arts Program
Faustini’s Institute is now offering a martial arts program with highly specialized instruction for children with special needs.
The program is designed by Richard
Faustini, director of the school. Mr. Faustini was a special
ed. teacher with Bergen County Special Services for
10 years and was instrumental in putting their behavior
management program into
place. Mr. Faustini has also been teaching martial arts to
children in the Bergen County area for 35 years.
The program will be taught by Brianna Faustini, FIMA Black Belt with 10 years teaching experience and NJ Certified Special Education teacher with 4 years experience.
The goal of our program is to help your special needs
child reach their highest level of physical, mental, emotional
and social development. This will be achieved in a
fun, yet disciplined program which is always positive and
nurturing.
The class will help your child improve their coordination,
physical fitness level, concentration, confidence,
self-esteem, self-discipline, motor development, balance,
agility, and a general positive attitude towards themselves.
The program will address the needs of children with Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism (with varying degrees of severity), Severe Attention Deficit Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, various learning disabilities, and objectionable behaviors.
In order to maximize your child’s success in our program, we offer an initial, private, complimentary session.
