FIMA Little Samurai Program (ages 4-5):
FIMA Little Samurai’s are
introduced to basic skills that will help your child approach life
with more confidence, assertiveness and enthusiasm. The basic
TaeKwonDo skills of kicking, punching and blocking are introduced and
taught at this level. Life skills such as manners, sharing, being
patient, respecting others, and learning to control our bodies are
discussed. All instruction at this level centers around the FIMA theme
of “Listen and Learn” which develops and enhances your child’s
ability to listen to and follow directions. Listening skills are
crucial to a child’s overall development and have a direct correlation
on one’s ability to learn and relate to others. The Little Samurai

that were introduced and developed in the FIMA Beginners program.
Students in this program have achieved the rank of yellow belt and
above. Throughout this program, students learn basic and advanced
forms, kicking and punching combinations, and self defense. At the
blue belt level judo and grappling is introduced. Once the student has
reached the proper maturity level, usually green belt, Jui-Jitsu is
introduced. Emphasis at this program level is on the
FIMA theme “Triad
of Learning.” This focuses on the mental, life, and physical skills
that help our young students succeed as they mature. Classes for this
program are held Monday & Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and
Tuesday & Thursday from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm. At this level of their
training, students commit to a 6-month membership program. Cost for

in our Leadership Program. This program emphasizes the nurturing and
development of skills needed to become a leader. There is an
additional $30 monthly fee for this program.

time period. There is an additional $50 monthly fee for this class.
FIMA Young Adult Program (ages 12 to 15):
The FIMA Young Adult Program is built upon our Future Black Belt
Program. Students are introduced and taught the fundamentals of our
tactical mixed martial arts system “Heiho Shin Do.” Because of their
age and maturity level, our young adults are able to learn faster and
proceed quicker. Once basic skills are mastered, young adults are
taught kickboxing techniques, grappling, Judo, Jui-Jitsu, and weapon
defenses. Emphasis at this level is placed on the FIMA “Performance
Formula” and how the daily choices we make dictate the direction
of our life. Classes for this program are held on Monday thru Thursday
at 7:30 pm. At this level of their training, students commit to a
6-month membership program. Cost for program is $125 per month.
FIMA Adult Program (ages 16 and up):
The FIMA Adult Program focuses on
teaching realistic self-defense based on our tactical mixed martial
tactical arts “Heiho Shin Do.” It is not oriented for competition, and
is geared towards one’s personal safety. Once basic skills are
mastered, adults are taught kickboxing techniques, grappling, judo,
jui-jitsu, third party protection, and weapon defenses. Once
developed, this overall tactical mixed martial arts system provides
you with a highly dynamic and extremely effective method of realistic
self defense.
A direct result of this program is total
self improvement by enhancing one’s overall physical conditioning and
self-empowerment. Students will experience a dramatic difference in
how they look and feel through their training at FIMA. Adult class are
offered Monday & Wednesday 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm and Tuesday & Thursday
9:30 am to 11:00am. Adult membership program is for 6 months. Cost for
