Fitness Class Descriptions:
Fit for Life bootcamps are high intensity interval training classes utilizing dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, battling ropes, and bodyweight exercises. Classes are designed for all levels of fitness from the absolute beginner to the more advanced.
Classes meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6 to 7 am. and 9 to 10 am.; Tuesday and Thursday 7:30 to 8:30 pm.; Friday 10 to 11am. and Saturday 11 to 12 noon. Taught by FIMAFitness staff.
FIMA’s bootcamp class will:
• Increase your bone density
• Increase lean muscle mass
• Increase overall body strength
• Increase functional range of motion
• Improve body fat composition
• Promote a healthy lifestyle
Born in the Navy Seals, Suspension Training with the TRX develops strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability. You will sculpt your upper and lower body with this TRX 30 minute blast. TRX and core exercises, a workout great for all ages, no experience necessary. Thirty minutes 2 to 3 days and you will feel and look great.
Cost of program is as follows: 2x per week $69.95, 3x per week $99.95.
Classes meet on Tues/Thurs 8:30am. and Mon/Wed/Fri at 10am.
This is a great program for young athletes who want to take their overall strength, power, mobility and explosiveness to an entirely new level. Kettlebells train the individual's body as a unit, muscles are not isolated, but trained as a function of mobility. They help to teach the body to respond and react as a unit.
The classes are taught by Richard Faustini. Mr. Faustini is a 3x National Olympic Weightlifting Champion, is kettlebell certified, and is also a certified speed, strength and agility trainer.
The classes meet on Tues./Thurs. from 4:30 to 5:15pm. Cost for the 8 week session is $240.
This is a straight cardio class that works in conjunction with our morning Boot Camp classes to enhance your overall cardio endurance. Classes include cardio kickboxing, agility drills, mobility drills, heavy rope training, and bodyweight calisthenics. The class is offered at no additional charge and is also available to any FIMA family member.
This class is taught by Lynn Brennan who is AFAA Group
Fitness Certified. Lynn is also a Certified Massage Therapist
with her own practice in Oradell, NJ.
